Marine Surveys and Inspections using thermal imaging or infrared |
| |
What is it?
A thermographer will accompany a marine surveyor and perform an external infrared inspection of the boat that you are intending to purchase, insure, finance, or commercially operate. They will inspect for structural integrity of the vessel, the electrical systems, mechanical systems, and propulsion system. |

| |
Why use it?
Infrared inspections are very good at pointing out structural issues not visible with the human eye. Having your boat inspected with infrared can greatly increase the chances of finding a defect that would otherwise be overlooked. This can save you money, time, and help ensure the proper operation of the vessel when you need it most. |
