Water and Flood Damage Inspections using thermal imaging or infrared |
| |
What is it?
A certified infrared thermographer will inspect your building or home after a flood or water pipe break to help identify areas that are holding moisture and may eventually cause structural damage or mold spore issues. |

|
| |
Why use it?
Moisture is very difficult to detect without using invasive techniques (such as prong type moisture detectors, and core sampling). Infrared thermography can detect moisture hiding behind walls, under floors and in ceilings without any further removal or damage to your building. It is extremely capable and cost effective. |

Who typically needs this?
This particular service is ideal for flood victims, buildings that have leaking roofs, burst pipes, expansive soil foundations, etc. Even if you do not have an obvious leak, many companies find slow leaks that would not be found until there was massive damage visible to the eye (which often means that the problem has progressed into a very critical condition). |
